It Runs In The Family
The Old Log Theatre
Excelsior, MN
Attended as part of the program at the annual SSSA meeting in Minneapolis. Not far from the city, but approximated back woods Minnesota. The play was a slapstick production which premiered at this theatre before opening in London's West End.
08-13-93
The Music Man
Milburn Stone Theatre
North East, MD
Another community theatre production presented by the Covered Bridge Theatre Company.

Major Barbara
PTTP
Newark, DE
Since Barbara was a student, we found that we could get tickets for the campus theatre program for $3.75. What the heck, let's try it. Our first PTTP performance was our introduction to Shaw (not knowing that we would become quite familiar with his work). Witty and irreverent. Discovered a soon be favorite actress, Victoria Adams as Sarah Undershaft.
04-19-94
Heartbreak House
PTTP
Newark, DE
OK, a second George Bernard Shaw play in one week, is pushing the limits. Yes it was also witty and irreverent, but getting tiresome.
04-26-94
The Way Of The World
PTTP
Newark, DE
Although not by Shaw, it was very similar in style, with silly mixed up romances in convoluted situations. Entertaining, but we were starting to wonder if this is all that will be offered, but we were hooked.
The one with the chandelier, which is where our seats were.
10-29-94
Agamemnon
PTTP
Newark, DE
This was a bit heavy for the opening show of the season, and didn't quite catch all that was going on, but it wasn't Shaw, and very different from last season. Especially appealing was Casey Stewart-Lindley who played Clytemnestra.
12-02-94
The Three Sisters
PTTP
Newark, DE
Another heavy offering and a downer, but an interesting change of venue by looking at Russian life.
Not big dance fans, but couldn't pass up a chance to see Mikail Baryshnikov.

Susan Sweeney and Kathleen Pirkl Tague as the Brewster sisters.
Noticed a short line and bought tickets spur of the moment at TKTS.
Couldn't quite understand why there was no line at 6:50 but decided
to have a beer at Times Square Brewery to wait for the show. After
an hour we realized it was in fact now 8:50 and we had missed the
first act. Oh well, we had good seats for the second half.
05-05-98
Late Show with David Letterman
The Ed Sullivan Theatre
New York, NY
Guests were Donald Trump, Jayson Williams, Cast of Home Coming with a performance by Trisha Yearwood. And yes, Donald Trump is just as big an ashhole in person as he is on TV.

Vast departure for class of '99's final performance that allows
Randy Howk to take a crack at Elwood P. Dowd.
04-27-99
Lord Of The Dance
Bob Carpenter Center
Newark, DE
Rousing dance numbers, but surprisingly found the use of non tradition celtic instruments, like the saxophone, to be a distraction. Still, got to see the show without Michael Flatley's ego and the performance in a gym didn't turn out to be a problem.
05-14-99
Fame
The Playhouse Theatre

Final season performance somewhat disappointing. Fun, but actually
liked the movie and TV show better.
