A laid back, no-set-list, solo, acoustic, enjoyable show. Mixed in a few classical and movie sound track pieces along with the hits. Shouting requests fractures Barbara's sense of decorum, so we unfortunately skipped out early. |

Fourth? time seeing them. Joseph Shabalala, who founded the group 52 years ago, is transitioning leadership to his four sons, letting them take the lead on several songs. He and all the others, are in amazing physical condition, still able to handle the high kicks. Good stuff. |

Starting St. Paddy's Day a little early with a rollicking, joyous celtic celebration. For some reason, our first encounter with them did not go as well, but this time we were in the right frame of mind to let the good times roll. |

Aware that they would not be like other tribute bands, and knew they would not be dressed as The Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, but still initially disappointed that they didn't attempt to imitate the voices on that classic album. That quickly dissipated though since the music was so good and that they took it very seriously. The tunes were almost note for note perfect, using few gimmicks, although I would have liked to see a real sitar and not the electronically distorted violin and guitar used as a substitute. Second half included other Beatle classics including side two of Abbey Road and concluding with I am The Walrus and Twist and Shout. |

Best 99 cent concert ever. As subscribers, we are often offered 99 cent tickets to help fill the house. Jack was with us for the weekend, so I took a chance that he would enjoy the mix of Taiko drumming with martial arts and dance. It exceeded all of our expectations. I offered Jack a chance to go home at the 10:00 intermission , but he insisted we stay till the end. |

Always willing to try a new approach, Xiang Gao's annual multimedia concert blended East and West with a look at the Qing Dynasty and it's interaction with western society. The program hinted at an entwined dramatic performance, which in reality was dominant with a musical accompaniment. Usually very loquacious, Xiang let his violin do the speaking this time. |

Besides a short set at the Obama inauguration, my first full Bruce concert since 1974, and well worth the wait. I knew what to expect, yet was still blown away by 4 hours of non-stop Bruceness. Being the same age, I truly ached for him as he body surfed and let the crowd maul him. Highlight for me was when he brought a young boy on stage to sing the chorus of "Waitin' On A Sunny Day" and then propped him up on his shoulder while the boy fist pumped along for the rest of the song. I believe my sister (in photo) enjoyed it even more. |

I fully understand the concept that increased volume increases excitement at a concert, but that's not what I was anticipating. There were the familiar, well written catchy tunes, yet they seemed quite different amped up and raucous. Sometimes it worked, but I preferred what one can find on his albums. Good but could have been better if dialed back a notch. |

Enjoyable Scotish band, but nothing out of the ordinary other than Jason's long lost cousin on fiddle (see photo). |

Very personable, modest and under appreciated. I was familiar with some of his stuff, but nothing that he played this night. Looked him up on Spotify the next night and am discovering some good stuff. Good opening act as well in Foy Vance |

We have both acts separately, and together they make a good team. Some nice new material from both, as well as the classics. Barbara thinks Nanci might be ill, and I have to agree that she is showing her age, but still sounds great. |
