Our first (and hopefully not last) castle stay exceeded our expectations. Luxurious yet warm and cozy. Even played a little 8 ball in the den. |

Designed as individual Masai dung huts. Breathtaking, greeted by giraffe outside our window. |

Built in treetops overlooking watering hole. Skylers monkeys hopped into room to feast on our trail mix. (Photo - Jerry, traveling companion Sue next door, and school group upstairs) |

Tour guide was afraid dimly lit rooms didn't meet Western standards, but our favorite stay in Thailand. Wonderful gardens and shared a pool side drink with Anatoly and Irina. Couldn't read at night in rooms, but serene and relaxing. |

Often we overlook the treasures in our own backyard. We spent Barbara's birthday weekend exploring the Brandywine Valley with the Inn as our home base. Charming village with great restaurant, but could have been even better without the contemporary furnishings. |

Fantastic room and service, 12' ceiling, hot tub in room, great last minute deal after initial reservation proved to be disappointing. The leopard jungle decor set the tone for a wild honeymoon suite. |

Located high in the Andean rainforest, between two volcanoes, Volcano Cayambe and Volcano Antisana, which fuel the hot springs located directly outside of our door. |

Very posh. Got an upgraded ground floor room with a patio overlooking the Biltmore Estate, and the pool to myself. |

Not your father's Old West ranch. Greeted in our luxurious room by a branded New Age CD playing and robes laid out in front of the fireplace. They still had horses, which we rode into the Sangre de Christo mountains. Got an incredible deal to boot. |

After 50 years in the the area, finally got to stay at the premier Wilmington landmark for my birthday. Package deal included a $50 breakfast in the Green Room and tickets to Yuletide at Winterthur. |
Honorable Mention
Also received 4 star ratings from us, but didn't crack the top ten. |
