J:Honeymoon. Fantastic room, 12' ceiling, hot tub in room, great last minute deal after initial reservation proved to be disappointing.
B:B&B with fantastic service. The leopard jungle decor set the tone for a wild honeymoon suite.

J:Only one night available at Jasmine, so moved across the street to another fine sister property.
B:Memorable slate patio with secluded garden area. One of my favorite cities.

J:One of Nassau's most beautiful architectural landmarks with a private beach, but a little past it's prime.
B:Beach front aside, the interior and resort atmosphere were detractors.

J:First anniversary. Nicely isolated rustic cabins inside Shenandoah with a great view from our bed.
B:While we have stayed in world class accommodations, nothing could beat the sunset we experienced from the privacy of our room (bed).

J:Log cabins in Catocton Mountain Park built by WPA during Depression, rustic and spartan. Listed on the National Register of Historic Structures. Partially spoiled by drunken, child abusing neighbors.
B:Too rustic for me!! The abusive dunk camping at the adjoining site was disquieting. Will always remember to treat one another with kindness and respect.

J:Great relaxing stay after long flight, Barbara's close encounter with an alternative lifestyle.
B:Our hosts and the detail that went into ensuring our comfort made this an all time favorite for me.

J:Disappointing. As the name implies, it's a lodge, but Park City has morphed from being a mining town to a ski resort town. This place had the feeling of neither. Nice soak in the hot tub during a cold rain though.
B:Taught us a valuable lesson about B&B's - now we tend to seek properties that value historic preservation, which this did not.

B:I'm not much of a camper and this was not especially wooded or memorable.

J:Nicely secluded ponderosa pine forest campground in one of our favorite parks.
B:Utah has wonderful national parks and while camping is not my favorite pastime, the quiet was serene.

J:Zion National Park was very crowded, so it was nice to have this campsite as a retreat.
B: The Utah national parks were the high point of this trip.

B:Memorable stay and comfortable accommodations. Near the Musikfest but away from town.

B:Got stuck needing an overnight accommodation because we missed the ferry.

J:Hot springs pool wonderfully relaxing after a cold hike in the rain forest. Great meal in the restaurant for the closing weekend of the season. Even though the motel style rooms were forgettable, we felt like staying all winter.
B:My favorite memory is of the hot spring pool, the gourmet meal, and the Asian women giggling at Jerry's hairy chest.

J: Farther up the slope on Mt. Rainier, took a memorable pre-breakfast hike from the great old inn, and relaxed in the massive lobby.
B:Great view, crisp fresh and clear morning air set the tone for a memorable vacation.

Awful. Dirty, no door on the bathroom, but great waterfront view of Manhattan. Darryl and Eef spent the night on our floor after canceling reservation at a sleazy motel that rented by the hour, and had a mattress in the parking lot.
