MAKERS OF KENTUCKY 1785-1900". He was known as Peg-Leg Mynhier because of an
accident as a child. His leg was amputated after he fell into the fireplace.
According to the book he was born Ca 1778 (W)Va. He may have been married
1st to Basheba Bummons 1811 in Fleming Co Ky which would account for Daughrer
Julia, she is only suspect child, no proof, just a John Minear signing for
her marriage and listed as father
