LEWIS E. PYLE, 94, of Naaman’s Creek Road, Johnson’s Corner, died Friday in the Rush Hospital, Malvern. His wife, Mary, died in 1913. Mr. Pyle was born and lived all his life in Concord. He was a skilled woodworker and made violins and rush-bottom chairs. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Anna Liliberte of Chatham, N.J., Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne of Hackensack, N.J., Mrs. Helen Johnson of Pleasantville, N.J. and Mrs. Katherine Fulmer of Morristown, N.J.; three sons, Francis R. at home; John M. of Newark, Del. and Lewis of Fairville, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the George W. Maxwell Funeral Home, 1834 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn. Burial will be in Elam Cemetery, Elam.
