When he was killed it was either Augusta Co. or Monolongalia Co.
I believe that there is some question as to this Jonathan. Could he be the
same as John his ? brother. Some have their b.as 1756, others have Jonathan
in1753 and John in 1756. See notes on John (200). I have the children listed
under John, others have them listed under Jonathan. P. Mossing and others
indicate that John went insane about 1789. Dr. Finley had Johns death at
1786 Tazewell Co Va.
