I came very late to the CD game. After having been stuck with a large collection of obsolete 8-Tracks, I wanted to be sure the format was not another flash in the pan. Once the CD hit it's 10 year anniversary in the mid 90's, I made the plunge. Now that the collection has grown out of hand, it's only a matter of time before the high defintion replacement will be announced.

Since the superior sound quality of CD's were being promoted, I think the first CD I bought was a New Age collection. I try to limit my purchases to those not in my vinyl collection, but too often succumb to repurchasing favorites.

I'm still in the process of compling what I have, but here is what I have so far.
